The Lions came away from their Aug 23rd road trip with their first win and road win of the 2014 campaign, downing the Valley Predators 20-16, in Temecula, CA.

For Coach Allen “Tommy” Kilen and his staff it was due. “All around our guys played a great game! Defense really stepped up, especially in the first half. Offensively we started to come around. Our offensive line did a great job opening holes and protecting Demonte (QB Demonte Haynesworth).

The Predators did not go away quietly. “We almost let it get away from us, but we kept our composure and met the adversity head on. We played well, I’m really looking forward to watching these guys grow and get better week to week!

Next up for the Lions, the So Cal Gladiators, also 1-1, on Saturday Sep 6th, 1:00PM kick-off. Tickets are still available.
