Tough So Cal Coyotes Team and Weather Take Toll in Lions Loss
The first Lions’ 2nd and final Home Game for the 2015 Spring on Saturday April 25th, ended with a difficult loss to the visiting So Cal Coyotes (3-0), defeating the Lions 77-0 (0-3). With a steady rain at the beginning of the game, it didn’t take long for the Coyotes to strike early, but the Lions continued to try and slow down the Coyote Run & Shoot offense.
But after losing starting Quarterbacks Chris Spencer (concussion), Kris Kellum (collar bone) and Justin (dislocate shoulder), it was evident it was going to be a long night. Despite the growing list of injuries there was NO QUIT in this LION TEAM.
For the Coyotes (3-0) on May 2nd they take on the California Sharks (2-1), whom they narrowly defeated two weeks ago.
For the Lions, it’s another road game this time to Phoenix, AZ for their 4th and final game of the APFL 2015 Spring Season, as they take the Arizona Scorpions (1-2). It’s a rematch of the April 11th game in Las Vegas and an opportunity for the Lions Team to get a little pay back.
For the Lions and Coyote fans that braved the damp and cool Las Vegas (really) evening, the So Cal Coyotes, Arizona Scorpions, California Sharks and Lions’ Organizations Thank YOU, for supporting the Five Star Sports and Entertainment AAA Professional Football League’s inaugural 2015 Spring Season!
